On Sept 1st 2019, the MHDiscs project started, hiring one PhD student and one postdoc.

Etienne Martel, our new PhD student will work on transition discs. These peculiar discs are known for their giant “hole” (or cavity) in their center. These discs are believed to be shaped by planets, or by two stars orbiting each other at the disc center. Etienne will work on numerical models of these discs.

Antoine Riols, our new postdoc will work on grains dynamics in protoplanetary discs. His goal is to explain some of the structures we see with ALMA using physical models of wind-emitting discs.
